Introduction

If you are going to audit...audit.

Payroll information is entered by only one staff member. The adjustments to payroll are sent to payroll by the human resource department. The adjustments are made by the payroll department and then is sent back to the human resource department for an “audit.” However, the audit/corrections are then sent back to the very person that entered the information into the computer in the beginning…Thus in effect… no audit...it seems that the Financial Director didn't make the connection. 

Just because Donors cover the cost, doesn't mean that you have to spend the money.
